There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV
Times and seasons have been foreordained by God. Life presents different scenes under different seasons. So often, we think that we know what would be best for ourselves and humanity at large, and our own perceived ideas are often reflected in our prayers… and yet the desires of our heart and our urgent pleadings to the Lord, too often conflict with God’s wider will for our lives and His greater desire and destiny for us.
It was King Solomon who made the observation that God has established specific times and predetermined seasons, which influence the affairs of our own individual lives and affects everything that takes place.
It is Impossible for one particular season to persist all the time. Much as we all pray against death, there is a time to be born and a time to die.
It is a season. When it happens, do not despair, look our for the season of birth. That will bring joy.The bible bible says”For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”
Psalm 30:5 KJV
The same God who controls the very dry season controls the very wet season and He makes them happen in their own time. And He says in His word that ” in all things, we should give thanks to Him “.That means ,no matter the seasons we find ourselves ,His praise should never depart from our mouths. In God’s economy there is an appointed time for everything, and a scheduled time for every event under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to gather; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build up.
God’s plan for life involves a variety of experiences and activities. Weeping may be part of life, but life is not all weeping; laughter has a place, too (Ecclesiastes 3:4). Construction is good in its time, but sometimes deconstruction is necessary (verse 3).
There are different situations and seasons that may confront a man ,but non should cause us to loose our praise because “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time……….
Ecclesiastes 3:11A KJV
Let’s join the hymn writer and sing;
Through all the changing scenes of life,
in trouble and in joy,
the praises of my God shall still
my heart and tongue employ.
Beloved, even though you are going through an unfavourable season now, trust the God of the times and seasons to bring you a fair season soon.
